Chicken Cutlet Recipe – Bakery Style (India)

  • 500 g Boneless Chicken (Cooked, Shredded)
  • 1 Small Size Beetroot (Cooked, Grated)
  • 3 Medium Size Potato (Cooked, Mashed)
  • 1 tsp Chicken Masala
  • 1 ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 5 tbsp Maida
  • 2 No.s Egg
  • Salt
  • Chicken Stock Water
  • 3 tbs Oil
  • 3 tbsp Grated Carrot
  • Coriander Leaf
  • 2 Spring Curry Leaf
  • 1 Big Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger( Finely Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (Finely Chopped)
  • 4 No.s Green Chillies (Finely Chopped)
  • 2 tsp Pepper powder

For Cooking Chicken

  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 cup Water

Method: -
Step 1: Cook the chicken along with turmeric, pepper, salt and water. Drain the water and shred it.

Step 2: Cook the potatoes along with salt and water. Drain the water, mash it well and keep it aside.

Step 3: Cook the beetroot along with water. Drain the water, grate it and keep it aside.

Step 4: Heat a pan on medium flame and add in oil along with onion, ginger, garlic, grated carrot and masalas and sauté it until the raw smell goes off. Add some stock water to give the flavour of chicken and moisture.
Add beetroot along with chicken and mashed potatoes. Mix it well to combine...
Check the salt and add if needed.
Add lemon juice along with chopped curry leaf and coriander leaf.
Switch off the flame.

Step 5: Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool down. Make a ball out of it and shape it into a round or oval shape and keep aside.

Step 6: Break open two eggs into a bowl. Whisk to combine all the ingredients.

Step 7: Now roll the cutlet in the flour until well coated. Dip the cutlet into the egg wash, shake off the excess, then roll in the bread crumbs until well coated. Make sure the pieces are well coated.

Step 8: Keep it inside the freezer for 15 Min that will make the cutlet crispier while frying.

Step 9: Deep fry the coated cutlet in hot oil in medium heat for 1 to 2 Mins.
Now our tasty chicken cutlet is ready to serve.
Serve it hot with some ketchup and Enjoy!!!!!
